Lost and Forgotten Books of the Bible

Sarah Bowman
Sarah Bowman, I’ve read the Bible, still read it, and also secular stuff.

To find sources for you I used the search words “lost and forgotten books of the bible.” The Google Search Results brought up so much information I’ll let you decide which best meets your needs. For example, there’s a lot about the “Forgotten Books of Eden” as well as lost/forbidden books of the Bible and various indices for Sacred Texts.

You might want to begin with The Forgotten Books of Eden, edited by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr., 1926, which seems to go with the Old Testament era.

Or maybe you’d like this list of Lost, Forgotten Books and Ancient Texts from the New Testament era.

The Wikipedia article is pretty much a cut-and-paste from other internet articles, but it does include a variety of lists in one place. Whether the list is exhaustive I can’t guarantee.
