First and Third Person by Chapter

As long as each chapter is well written should it matter or will this jar/annoy the reader?

Some readers don’t like that kind of book but enough readers do like it for lots of books like that to be written and sold. I’ve read that kind of novel with no problem. The trick is to be consistent. Let it be clear to us readers which character is speaking, whose view point we’re seeing.
